STORY

From Heritage to Vision

Raphaël Pathé was born into art. Guided by his mother, Martine Séchoy Wolff—an early exhibitor at Art Basel—he developed a refined eye for color, form, and symbolism. From Swiss precision to African and Egyptian motifs, his upbringing shaped a visual language rooted in light and emotion.

Though self-taught as a draftsman and painter, Pathé’s creative journey extends across disciplines. Early in his career, he appeared as an actor in the video installations of British artist Hilary Lloyd, exhibited at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris and other major venues. These collaborations, featured in ArtReview and Frieze, positioned him within the international art scene while deepening his connection to performance and visual composition.

Through Elkolor, he continues this exploration—transforming energy, intuition, and personal mythology into color and rhythm.
